Tomorrow, Chez Pim is hosting the fifth edition of Wine Blogging Wednesday, a fantastic idea that was started by Lenn at Lenndevours.

The topic for this edition is “Wacky-name wines” with no restrictions other than, the wackier the name, the better.

I considered a number of the wines from D’Arenberg who are pretty famous around these parts for having some ridiculous names, but none of their wines that I had access to were quite wacky enough. I also tried looking for a sparkling wine (since it is Australia Day tomorrow) but didn’t have any luck.

I think I’ve come up with a pretty good candidate from the Margaret River in Western Australia and I am very much looking forward to participating and seeing what everyone else has discovered.

  1. Hey! Thanks for joining us and I’m pretty excited to find an Aussie wine blogger. I’ve been looking for one!

Can’t wait to see what you come up with for tomorrow. I’m actually a total slacker and haven’t bought mine yet! But, I think I know what I’m going to get…assuming the wine shop still has it!

    Cheers..and welcome aboard!

  2. “Two Hands” are better than one! Welcome!
